Michelle was born in Salem, NH, where she attended parochial grammar school at St. Joseph’s and later Salem High School. She went on to study at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME, and upon graduation in 1984, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. There, she worked and enjoyed life for seven years before returning to the Northeast.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1984 and specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques, including craniosacral therapy and many components of integrative manual therapy. Her first love is Pediatric Physical Therapy, and she has advanced training and certifications in Neuro Developmental Treatment, Rhythmic Movement Training, and torticollis/plagiocephaly.

Michelle enjoys helping people resolve or reduce neck and back pain, as well as decreasing inflammation in their bodies. In the pediatric population, she is especially passionate about working with newborns who experience reflux, digestive, or elimination issues, with the goal of helping to prevent the need for medication.

She specializes in figuring out difficult cases and truly loves working with babies. Among the conditions she enjoys treating are scoliosis, back pain, and torticollis/plagiocephaly.

Michelle also values the supportive environment of her workplace, noting that one of her favorite parts of working here is her wonderful co-workers.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys ballroom, Lindy hop, and Latin dancing, as well as traveling and skiing. She sings with Voices from the Heart and loves spending time with her nephews and grandnephews—a lively crew of 11 boys. She also enjoys attending yoga and personal growth workshops at Kripalu Yoga Center and Aryaloka Buddhist Retreat Center.
